Teaching and learning Vietnamese as a foreign language is now growing not only for foreigners in Vietnam but also in many countries around the world. Besides Vietnam, China also organized teaching Vietnamese courses very early and compiled many Vietnamese textbooks. (In this article, there are surveys and studies about some typical textbooks in Viet Nam as well as the Vietnamese curriculum, which are being compiled and implemented in Chinese universities.) This article will be conducted surveys and studies of the Vietnamese language textbooks writen by Chinese authors and is being taught in Chinese universities as well as some typical textbooks in Vietnam. The content (The subjects vary among aspects) explores aspects: overall program, lesson content, lesson unit structure, choice and vocabulary distribution, grammar topics, language and cultural correlation. The results of the survey serve as a basis for reference to build a Vietnamese language program for foreigners at the University of Danang - University of Science and Education.
